Read more : Hello world!MBR Acres breeds 2,000 beagle puppies every year for laboratory experiments. The people behind it were convicted of animal cruelty in Italy — so they set up in the English countryside instead. We are Camp Beagle, and we stand at the gates.
The people behind MBR Acres were previously involved in running Green Hill, a beagle breeding facility in Brescia, Italy. In 2014, the Italian courts convicted them of animal cruelty. Rather than reform, they moved their operation to a quiet corner of Cambridgeshire.
Today, MBR Acres breeds around 2,000 beagle puppies every year and sells them to laboratories for experiments. The facility operates behind closed doors with no independent oversight.
We track every company that does business with MBR Acres. Some have listened to the public and walked away. Others continue to profit from animal suffering.

Camp Beagle activists have been taken to court for their peaceful protests. In every jury trial, the verdict has been the same: not guilty. Juries of ordinary people have consistently upheld the right to peaceful protest.
Activists charged following peaceful protest at MBR Acres. A jury of twelve ordinary people heard the evidence and returned a unanimous not guilty verdict.
Again, peaceful protesters were prosecuted. Again, a jury acquitted them. The public understands what these activists are doing and why.
Public figures, politicians, scientists, and organisations have spoken out against MBR Acres and in support of Camp Beagle.
Politely ask companies still supplying MBR Acres to reconsider. Many have already walked away after hearing from the public.
